Chaining Drifts In Neon Drift Circuit

August 19, 2026 · Jonas Keller

Neon Drift Circuit is all about never letting your drift chain break. A clean lap where you link one slide into the next is massively faster than a technically precise but choppy one.

The key is looking ahead, not at your car. Set up each drift for the corner after the one you're taking. If you exit a turn already angled for the next, you keep the chain alive and your boost keeps climbing.

Short taps on the brake tighten a drift; easing off widens it. I stopped holding the brake through whole corners once I realised feathering it keeps me in that sweet-spot slide angle longer.

Save your boost for the long straights, not the exit of every corner. Dumping it early just caps your speed into a turn you'd have to slow for anyway. Patience with the meter wins races.

Memorise two or three tracks properly rather than half-learning all of them. Knowing exactly where to start each drift is where the real time savings come from.
