About

PixLab Play started as a shared notes document between a few friends who kept texting each other tips about whatever mobile game we were stuck on. At some point the document got too big, so we turned it into a proper site. That's the whole origin story — no studio, no sponsor, just people who like games.

We write guides and reviews for mobile titles across genres: RPGs, strategy, racing, puzzles, the lot. Every game we cover gets installed and actually played. If we only reached level three before giving up, we say so instead of pretending.

How we pick games is simple. Sometimes a title blows up and readers ask about it. Sometimes one of us finds a quiet gem and wants to talk about it. We avoid anything built around gambling mechanics — that's just not what this site is about.

Everything here is written by hand, edited by a human, and updated when a game changes. If we get something wrong, tell us and we'll fix it.

Jonas Keller — Jonas has been reviewing mobile games for over a decade and still gets genuinely excited about a well-tuned difficulty curve. He handles most of the strategy and RPG coverage.
