Lantern of the Deep

Lantern of the Deep is a slow, atmospheric adventure game where you guide a diver through a sunken city. Most of your time goes to exploring, solving environmental puzzles, and piecing together what happened here. There's no combat — just curiosity and a limited lantern you have to manage.

The puzzles are smart without being obtuse, and almost every answer is hidden in the world rather than a menu. I loved how the game trusts you to notice things. The hand-drawn art and quiet soundtrack do a lot of the storytelling.

It's not a long game, maybe five or six hours, but it stuck with me. If you want something calm and thoughtful rather than fast, this is it.
